George Herbert Walker Bush

George Bush, Sr was born Jun 12, 1924 in Milton, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, the second child of Prescott Bush (1896-) and his wife Dorothy (1902-).

In Jan 1945, he married Barbara Pierce. They had six children: George, Robin, John "Jeb", Neil, Marvin and Dorothy.

He was US Vice-President from 1981 to 1989, and US President from 1989 to 1993. He ran for President in the 1992 Election but lost to William "Bill" Clinton.

Prescott S Bush

Prescott Bush was born 15 May 1895 in Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio, the son of Samuel Prescott Bush by his wife Flora Sheldon.

He graduated from Yale University in 1917, enlisted in the Army for WWI and served to 1919. He then married Dorothy Walker of Kennebunkport, Maine, on Aug 6, 1921. By 1930 they are living in Fairfield, Connecticut with three children.

From 1952-1963 he was a US Senator from Connecticut, living in Greenwich.

He died in New York on Oct 8, 1972 and was buried in Putnam Cemetery, Greenwich, Connecticut.
