Mary Fawcett is Married to N Des Marais in Snohomish, by Norman Gegax [byline]
Clearview, Wash, Aug 18 -- At a simple, but impressive, ceremony Saturday, August 15, in St John's Episcopal church in Snohomish, Miss Mary Fawcett became the bride of Noel Des Marais. The Rev W G Horn officiated.
The bride was lovely in her dress of white silk crepe and blue silk turban with tiny blue veil. She wore a corsage of small salmon gladioli and babybreath. Miss Eleanor Esser was her only attendant. Hector Des Marais was his brother's best man. The families of both the bride and groom were present.
A wedding dinner followed at 12 noon, given by the bride's mother, Mrs T Fawcett, assisted by Mrs B E Booth at the latter's home. Twenty guests were present. The young couple will reside in the former Chester home. Their many friends wish them much joy and happiness"
