'''Dean Corll''' (1939-1973), serial killer Dean Corll was born 24 Dec 1939 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Arnold Corll by his wife Mary Robinson. His middle name has been given as "Arnold" and also as "Allen". His parents divorced, and his mother took her two sons and moved to Houston, Texas. His mother ran a candy store, where Dean helped out, until the business closed and she moved to Colorado. Dean stayed in Houston and trained to become an electrician.
