By "fantasy" here I include movies related to magic and other types of supernatural events, but not to science fiction which I include under the "Science Fiction" heading.

Of course the number one movie on everybody's list has to be

[[The Wizard of Oz]] 1939 MGM fantasy movie starring [[Judy Garland]], [[Frank Morgan]], [[Ray Bolger]], [[Bert Lahr]], [[Jack Haley]], [[Billie Burke]], [[Margaret Hamilton]] and [[Charley Grapewin]] from the book by [[L. Frank Baum]]. [[Clara Blandick]] who plays "Auntie Em" was not credited in the opening credits but is named in the closing credits.
