He married on 3 Feb 1628/9 to Anne Poyntz (1602-69), daughter of Sir John Poyntz of Iron Acton (d 1633) by his fourth wife, Grissell Roberts.  He died before his wife Anne, who was buried May 1, 1669 at Bromsberrow.

They had at least four children, all baptised at Frampton on Severn, Gloucs.:
