==Christopher Dodd==
Christopher John Dodd was born [[May 27]], 1944 in Willimantic, Windham County, [[Connecticut]], the son of Thomas Joseph Dodd and Grace Mary Murphy.  His father Tom was also a United States Senator from Connecticut. Chris Dodd graduated from Georgetown Prepatory School in Potomac, Maryland in 1962, from Providence College in Rhode Island in 1966, from the University of Louisville, Kentucky School of Law in 1972.  He was in the US Army from 1969 to 1975.  In July 1970 he married Susan Mooney, they divorced Oct 1982.  He is a US Senator from [[Connecticut]] first elected in 1981.  In June 1999, married Jackie Marie Clegg.  He lives in East Haddam when Congress is not in session.  He has two daughters: Grace (b 2002) and Christina Dodd (b 2005).

He is currently running on the Democratic ticket for the US Presidential Election of 2008.  His Democratic challengers are: [[Hillary Diane Rodham|Hillary Clinton]], [[Joseph Biden|Joe Biden]], [[John Edwards]], [[Dennis Kucinich]], [[Barack Obama]], and [[William Richardson|Bill Richardson]]

==Thomas Joseph Dodd==

Thomas Joseph Dodd was born [[May 15]], 1907 in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut, the son of Thomas Joseph Dodd and his wife Abigail Margaret O'Sullivan.  He graduated from Providence College, Rhode Island and received a law degree from Yale University.  On [[May 19]], 1934 he married Grace Murphy of Westerly, Rhode Island.  They had six children.

He was US Representative from Connecticut 1953-57 and US Senator from Connecticut 1959-71.

Thomas J Dodd died in Old Lyme, Connecticut [[May 24, 1971]]

Thomas Joseph Dodd was born about 1870 in Connecticut.  He married Abigail Margaret O'Sullivan, about 1902 and probably in Connecticut. In 1907 the family lived at Norwich, New London County, Connecticut.  Abigail may have died before the 1930 census as she does not appear with her family that year.
