==Joseph Robinette Biden Jr==
Joe Biden was born [[Nov 20]], 1942 in Scranton, Lackawanna County, [[Pennsylvania]], the eldest child of [[#Joseph Robinette Biden|Joseph Robinette Biden, Sr.]] and his wife [[#Catherine Eugenia Finnegan|Catherine Eugenia "Jean" Finnegan]].

The family moved to Delaware when Joe was ten years old and he was raised in New Castle County, [[Delaware]] where his father was a car salesman.  Joe Jr graduated from the University of Delaware and Syracuse University College of Law. He was first elected to the Senate in 1972 when he was 29.

While he was in law school he married Neilia Hunter, they had three children: Joseph R "Beau" Biden III, Robert Hunter Biden, and Amy Biden.  His wife and infant daughter died in a car accident in 1972/4.  In 1977 he married Jill Tracy Jacobs.  They had one daughter Ashley. Currently a US Senator from Delaware, he has been in government for 33 years.

He is currently running on the Democratic ticket for the US Presidential Election of 2008.  His Democratic challengers are: [[Hillary Diane Rodham|Hillary Clinton]], [[Christopher Dodd]], [[John Edwards]], [[Dennis Kucinich]], [[Barack Obama]], and [[William Richardson|Bill Richardson]]

==Joseph Robinette Biden==
Joe Biden was born [[Nov 13]], 1915 in Baltimore, [[Maryland]], the eldest child of [[#Joseph H Biden|Joseph H Biden]] and his wife [[#Mary Elizabeth Robinette|Mary Elizabeth Robinette]].  "While he was still a boy, his family moved to Wilmington, where he attended St. Paul’s School and Wilmington High School before graduating from St. Thomas Academy in Scranton, PA, where the family was then residing." (see obit)

He married [[#Catherine Eugenia Finnegan|Catherine Eugenia "Jean" Finnegan]] of Scranton in 1941, while he was employed as a sales representative for Amoco Oil Company. They had at three sons and a daughter, including [[#Joseph Robinette Biden Jr.|Joe Biden Jr]] in 1942, while living in Scanton, Pennsylvania. 

Joe Sr. died [[Sep 2]], 2002 in Wilmington, [[Delaware]] at the home of his son Joe Jr.

Joseph H Biden was born 1893/4 in [[Maryland]].  He married in 1914/5 to [[#Mary Elizabeth Robinette|Mary Elizabeth Robinette]] and they had their eldest son [[#Joseph Robinette Biden|Joseph Robinette Biden]] there in 1915.  The family lived in 1920 in Baltimore.
