 Elton John was born 25 Mar 1947 in Pinner, Middlesex, England; near London, to Stanley Dwight and his wife Sheila Eileen Harris.  Stanley was a Royal Air Force officer.  They divorced in 1961, Stanley remarried four months later and had four more children including Geoffrey Dwight.
