Hi Wilda, I am so glad to hear from you. My g-grandmother was Sarah Elizabeth Boyd Simpson Chestnut, daughter of Susan Taylor & Redmond Boyd. I should have put the whole obit on my site. When I get a query from someone it makes me realize how much more I need to get done. Anyway, here is what was published in the book I mentioned:

Obit dated Friday, September 1915. GRANDMA BOYD CALLED TO HER REWARD.-Grandma Susan Boyd was called to her reward at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mollie Koontz, Tuesday at 1:20pm. She was 92 yrs old and her advanced age weighed heavily on her and for several years she had been almost helpless. The funeral services were conducted at the M.P. church Wednesday at 1 o'clock followed by internment in the cemetery at Klondike by the side of her husband. Mrs Susan Boyd was born Dec. 18, 1824. At the age of 17 she was married to Rev. Redman Boyd. In an early day she came to Arkansas and Texas where she shared the hardships and labor of her husband and his chosen work, the ministry, in the Methodist Protestant Church, and now many churches of this denomination in Arkansas and this part of Texas are standing monuments to the faithful service of this good woman in Israel and her lamented husband. She was the mother of eight children, three of whom survive her, they were as follows:
J.N. Boyd, deceased; Mrs. W. H. Chestnut; Mrs Mollie Koontz; Archie Boyd, deceased; Sam Boyd, deceased; John Boyd, deceased; Mattie McAmos, deceased; Willie Haywood Boyd. Coming down to us from generations of the past there are few ??????? who knew Grandma even in ????of life but she continued ?????consolation and benefaction to ???? who were so fortunate as to know her. Rev. Lockett Adair, the great evangelist, knew her as an aged woman when he was a boy and her ????? life and christian influence on him no doubt had much to do in directing his useful career. When in Cooper he called to see her and asked to sit at her feet and light her pipe as he had done in childhood. She had filled the various stations of life, a dutiful wife, a fond mother, friend and had filled them well. Who could do more? But she is gone! Another name is stricken from the ever lessening roll of pioneers of our land. In such a death there is no cause for grief. Wearied of life's duties and cares,
weary of suffering and waiting she lay down to rest. "Tired ! Oh yes, so tired dear, I shall soundly sleep tonight and never a fear, To wake in the morning light."

The question marks were in the copy in the book, I would guess the original obit had become worn in spots.
