However Thomas is known to be living 1518-29 when by Procat Entry C 1/480/13 when he complains of detention of deeds in right of Margaret his wife, daughter and heir of Robert Spencer, Knt. 

[http://content.ancestry.com/Browse/BookView.aspx?dbid=49030&iid=FLHG_AncestralRoots-0028 Line 1.38 on page 4] is stated : "Penelope West...d abt 1619" However the baptismal register of Boston, Lincolnshire where the family is last known to have lived, shows that their last child Elizabeth was baptised there on 8 Jul 1624 and Penelope must have been living at least shortly before that.

It also states that she was daughter of "Thomas Waldegrave, son of Thomas Waldegrave", no mothers being given.  The marriage license was granted by the Bishop of London in 1626/7 and states that she is about 20, and he is about 26.  The wife of Thomas Jr was Margaret Holmstead, and the wife of Thomas Sr was Elizabeth Gurdon, daughter of Robert Gurdon of Assington.
