[[Bate of Little Chester]] On 7 Jan 2007 I, [mailto:wjhonson@aol.com Will Johnson], received by email, a pedigree. I do not know the underlying source, but at the top is this heading: "Bate of Little Chester, co Derby and Ashby-de-la-Zouche, co Leicester "Compiled from the Pedigrees entered in 1662 and 1682, from Parish Registers, Monuments, etc., by "J. Paul Rylands, F.S.A." Part of this document is typeset and part is handwriten, I will indicate the part that is handwriten by italicizing it. <i>John Poole of Poole, co Chester. 1st husband, married (s.p.)</i> Joan, dau'r of Sir John Warburton of Arley, co Chester, Knt., who was High Sheriff of Cheshire 1505 and later years. 2 wife. (Joan) married Sir William Turvile, of Aston-Flamvile, Knt. Died 1549. (William) married Helen dau'r of Sir John Ferrers of Tamworth Knight. 1 wife. <i>K. 2 fo: 136, Coll: Arm:</i> By Joan Warburton, issue, called "Tuvile of Aston-Flamvile. By Helen Ferrers, issue John Turvile of Thurleston and Newhall, Esq. Died 1561. Married Mary, dau of Thomas Findern, of Findern, co. Derby, Esq.
