'''Delores Rodgers''' (1916-1984) She was born in Pittsburgh, the daughter of John Thomas Rodgers and his wife Lillian "Lillie". John and Lillie also had a son Elmer born about 1913. John Rodgers died in 1932. Lillie died in 1974. Elmer, who became a Sealtest milk routeman was able to help his sister Delores complete her nursing training at Pittsburgh's Mercy Hospital. Soon after she started work at the hospital, she met her future husband Charles R "Chuck" Lynch, Jr. Chuck born in 1917, the second of seven children, had grown up in Vandergrift, near Pittsburgh. His father was a chemist. Chuck went to the University of Pittsburgh where he studied business. After college he went to work as an accountant at the General Electric plant in Pittsburgh. Delores married Chuck Lynch on Jan 11, 1942 at the Evangelical and Reformed Church in Vandergrift. They had two children: Jane Alda "Janie" Lynch born Oct 28, 1944 and Thomas John "TJ" Lynch born Aug 16, 1947. Chuck retired from General Electric where he had been a top executive. He died Nov 5, 1983. Thomas John Lynch married first Susie Sharp and had two children: John Lynch and Jim Lynch. He and Susie divorced and he then married Kathy, and they lived in Albuquerque, where he was a dentist.
