6.On 16 October 2007 Douglas Richardson recorded that Eve Marshal married William de Brewes and is mother of Maud de Brewes. On 21 October Todd Farmerie observes that there are several spellings. Historians in the past have usually chosen to standardize this as Braose, but Mr. Richardson has simply chosen to use an alternative representation of the name. On 21 October Doug Thompson: "There was a long discussion on this newsgroup around March 2002 on the topic of the various spellings of Braose and which might be the preferred usage. You can find it in the archive by searching for "spelling braose". Briwer, Bruere, Brewer is a totally different family.
