Dudley's sister Sarah "Sallie" Richardson is his only other sibling who had any children.  She married a Mr Bragg and was last known to be living in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee in 1969.
  
 
By 1916 he had moved to Arkadelphia, [[Clark County, Arkansas]] where according to the book ''Clark County Past and Present'' he "...played cornet in Dwight Blake's band and in 1916 became director of the Arkadelphia Band.  He married an Okolona girl and taught music and tuned pianos in that town until his death."  His brother Charles was a painter.
