"Josephine Richardson has died after several months illness. She was one of our oldest and most highly respected Christian ladies, being an advocated member of the Methodist Church and will be greatly missed in this community. She leaves a sister, Miss May Dudley, two daughters and two sons. Funeral services were held at 4:30 Sunday afternon being conducted by Rev. H.W. Wheeler and her remains interred in Rose Hill cemetery beside that of her husband who preceeded her a few years ago."
