The loose probate packet of [[Thomas St Clair]] Ninety-five pages. ==Page 1== [[Thomas St Clair|Thomas C StClair]] 1856 ==Page 2== Know all men by these presents that we Winney St Clair as principal and John W St Clair and Robert H Adams as her securities are held and firmly bound until the State of Arkansas in its ... wereof ... and truly to be made we bind ourselves our heirs and jointly severally and firmly by these presence [sic] sealed with our seals and being dated this 23rd of January 1857 The condition of the above obligation is such that after above bounded Winney St Clair Administrix of all and singular the goods and chattels rights and credits of Thomas C St Clair deceased shall make or cause to be made ... inventory of all and singular the goods and chattels rights and credits [of the?] deceased which have or may come to the hands possession or knowledge of her the said Winney St Clair or into the hands or possession of any other person for her and the same so made shall shall [unto?] and exhibit in the office of the Clerk of the Court of Probate for the County of Franklin within sixty days from the date of the above obligation and all and singular the goods and chattels rights and credits of the deceased which shall come into the ==Page 3== hands, possession or knowledge of the said Winney St Clair she shall will and truly administer according to law and pay the debts of the deceased as ... as his assets will extend and the law [permit ?] and further make or cause to be made just and true accounts of of his administration and make [due?] and proper settlements thereof from time to time according to law or the lawful order sentence or decree of any Court having competent prosecution and shall moreover well and truly do and perform all other matters and things touching such administration that are or may be prescribed by law or [injoined?]...such administratrix by the lawful order sentence or decree of any court having competent jurisdiction thereto above obligation to be void and of no effect Otherwise to remain in full force and virtue Attest: A S Berry Winney [her mark] St Clair John W St Clair R H Adams State of Arkansas County of Franklin I Winney St Clair being duly sworn do on oath state that I will make as true and perfect [inventory?] of the ...dutifully administer all and singular ==Page 4== the goods and chattles rights and credits of the deceased and pay his debts as far as the assets which may come to my hands will extend and the law direct and that I will account for and pay over according to law all assets which shall come to my hands or possession.
