==William Alfred Newsom==
William Alfred Newsom was born about 1865 in California of a father born in Indiana and a mother born in Ireland.  He married Belinda Dolores Collins about 1888 probably in California.  The family was living by 1890 in San Francisco (George's WW1 Draft Registration Card states he was born there).

For most of his life, William was involved in the building trade, as a contractor or construction superintendent, but in 1930 in San Francisco he is listed as a banker. William Alfred Newsom, died 18 Oct 1933 in San Francisco.

William and Belinda had the following children:
