What did I know when I started this article about Genie? Genie is called variously 13 or 13 1/2 in postings describing when she was discovered by authorities in 1970. Many online postings state that the father shot and killed himself before he could be arrainged. It repeats her parents names as above and adds that she had a brother or half-brother named John Wiley, calling him "Clark's son". In this same article, Irene is called "of Alhambra, California", although their home is described as being "in Arcadia".
