A young British engineer employed by a London firm is shortly to marry a beautiful Yugoslav friend of the Duchess of Kent.  He is Mr [[Geoffrey Farrer Kennedy]], aged 29, of Bramley, near Guildford Surrey, and his fiancee is Mlle Daska Ivanovic Banaz, a 23-year-old step-daughter of M Bozo Banaz, a wealthy shipowner.  Mlle Banaz knew the Duchess of Kent when she was Princess Marina.
