Otis Hogan

Unknown placement somewhere in this Hogan family is:

Otis Hogan was born about 1873 in Missouri to John F Hogan and his wife Sarah.  There is a OneWorldTree submission which calls her "Sarah Ann Dunkle". John and Sarah were probably married in Chariton County, Missouri as John is living there in 1870 with his parents, George and Sarah. There is a OneWorldTree submission which calls her "Sarah Ann Owen".

Primary documents

*1870 Census of Chariton County, Missouri showing "John F Hogan, 25 b KY", living with his (assumed by me) parents George W Hogan age 46 b KY  and Sarah A age 46 b VA.  Also living with them is "Edward Owen, age 84, b Maryland"

*1880 Census of Brunswick, Chariton County, Missouri showing "John Hogan 35 b KY, Sarah 32 b OH, Otis 7, Henry 5, Ollie 3, Cordie 1"

*1900 Census of Hico Township, Benton County, Arkansas showing "John Hogan, Sarah" and various children none of whom is Otis.

Secondary sources

*On Feb 27, 2007 on Gen-Medieval, Fred Chalfant noted that "George Washington Hogan and Sarah Ann Owen are the 2Ggrandparents of Norma Jeane Mortenson(Baker)"
