==Anna Griffith Mark== According to the New York Times (Dec 9, 1924) he married Anna Griffith Mark, daughter of Clayton Mark, "wealthy steel manufacturer of Lake Forest, Ill." The secret marriage was announced and stated to have occurred on Nov 20, 1923. The marriage was kept a secret until the birth of their first child on Aug 30, 1924. Their second child, a daughter was born on or slightly before Oct 12, 1926 which is the date it was announced in the New York Times.
