In 1730, when Henry had just turned 23 and had not been previously married, he as "Henry Cavendish, esq of Doveridge" married the 23-year-old unmarried Anne Pyne of St Anne.  Their license dated 8 June 1730 allows them to marry at Royal Chapel of Whitechapel.  Their is a patron-submitted sheet in the IGI claiming that they did marry the next day at Westminster.
