'''Ruth White''', author and Baha'i (b 27 Jun 1888, Winstead, [[Connecticut]])

Her stage name was Ruth Berkeley, her first married name was Mrs George Rowell, and by this marriage she had a daughter.  Her second husband Hubert Lawrence White, graduated in law from Cornell University.  They were married by 1930 if not many years before, possibly he is the one of that name who was son of William Mansfield White by his wife Anna Maria Pierrepont.  In 1930/1 she lived in New York City, moving later to Utica, New York. She perhaps moved in the mid 40s to Beverly Hills, California.  At one point their address is given as "R.D. 2, Santa Cruz, California". Her husband might be the man of that name who died in Santa Monica, California in 1953.
