Will of Solomon Wright Somerset Co., Maryland February 12, 1772
February the 12th Anno Domn one thousand seven Hundred and Seventy two, Solomon Wright of Somerset County in the Province of Maryland being Sick and weak in body but of sound and perfect memory blessed be God and calling to mind the uncertainty of life that proper to settle my worldly affairs in the manner following
Viz first - It is my desire that all my just debts be punitually paid
Secondly I leave unto my grandson William Wright my plantation where on I now liveth with all my Lands thereto joining to Him and his Heirs for Ever
Thirdly I leave all my other Estate to be equally divided among my Six Children that is to say between Jacob Wright, Levin Wright, Sarah Phillips, Patiance Jackson, Prissilla Robertson & Charity Twiford to them and their Heirs for Ever.
Fourthly I make and ordain Levin Wright Executor of this my Last Will and Testament and do disanull and by these presents do make void and of no effect all other Wills heartofore made by me and do confirm this to be my Last Will and Testament as Witness my hand and seal this 12th day of February Ann. Dom. 1772.

On the 5th day of March 1772 Came Joseph Venables and made oath on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God that the within Instrument of writing is the true and only Will and Testament of Solomon Wright late of Somerset County deceased that hath come to his hands prossession or knowledge and that he did not know or ever heard of any other.
Sworn before Thos Holbrook, Dep. Comm of Somerset County.
On the fifth day of March one thousand seven hundred and seventy two came Joseph Venables, William Darby and Jonathan Cordry the three Subscribing Witnesses and made oath on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God that they did see the Testator Solomon Wright sign and seal the within Will and heard publish pronounce and declare the same to be his last Will and Testament and at the time of his so doing he was to the best of each of their apprehansions of a sound disposing Mind Memory and understanding and that they Subscribed their names as Witnesses to the said Will in the presence of the said Testator.
