Being a genealogist myself, I am rather surprised that ''Catherine "Katie"'' -  the wife of Martin Mortenson ("a '''Norwegian'''" - there is a typo on the page: a superfluous "i") - is listed without her surname identified.

I know, of course, that females often remained "nameless" in old documents (although, it should be said, that this document in particular is not THAT old, so it's hard to believe that her surname could not be identified), but in such cases it is customary to explain the absence of the data (e.g. 'surname unknown') - ''especially'' in documents which cannot be regarded as particularly "old", in genealogical terms (i.e. documents dating from the 18th-19th century).
