+Lou Birchie Ayers was born in Mississippi, the child of parents who had moved there from their native Georgia.  This much is clear from the 1910 and 1920 census.  However, whether she was born 9 Feb 1883, whether her parents were Simpson and Hattie is unclear.  In the 1910 census she is 19, in the 1920 census she is 27.  So the idea that she was born 9 Feb 1883 as Findagrave indicates is suspect.
