Ginger next married George Jefferson "Jeff" Dwire (b 1926) on 3 Jan 1968 in Hot Springs. It is unclear at the moment whether he died or they divorced, but she lastly married Richard "Dick" Kelley on 17 Jan 1982. One of her last public appearances was at a concert by her friend Barbra Streisand. She died 6 Jan 1994 at her home in Hot Springs, Arkansas and is buried beside her first husband at Rose Hill Cemetery in Hope. Barbra Streisand attended her funeral. Virginia's last husband Richard survived her.
