In this fantasy romance, Tim Curry is a demonic entity, determined to spread darkness over the land. Tom Cruise is a woodland boy, communing with fairies and unicorns, and Mia Sara is a well-born "lady" but also Tom's romantic interest. Mia's mistake brings catastrophe to the land, and becomes the prisoner of Tim, and now Tom and his fantasy helpers must free her and the land.
