| The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Part 1 | The dolphins knowing that the Earth is about to be destroyed, all leave the planet. Their last message was, "So Long and Thanks for All the Fish". Arthur Dent's home is about to be destroyed to make way for a highway. Just then his friend Ford shows up with important news. |
| Part 2 | Ford who it turns out is a space alien, takes Arthur to a tavern where he tells Arthur that the world is about to end in a few minutes. Arthur then shares a story about a girl, Trisha, whom he met at a costume party. She wants to go to Madagascar, but Arthur hesitates, as that is such an odd thing. Meanwhile, another guy shows up and offers to take Trisha for a ride, in his spaceship. Back to now, Vogon spaceships show up and announce that the Earth is going to be destroyed right then. And then they do it. |
| Part 3 | Ford and Arthur however have been saved by hitchhiking on one of the Vogan spaceships. This Part opens with a brief introduction, which explains that the "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" is a popular book, which contains all knowledge and wisdom. One bit of wisdom, details how bad-tempered and bureaucratic the Vogans are, and that you should never allow them to read poetry to you, as it's so awful it might kill you. The Vogans discover our heroes in the hold, capture them, and read them poetry, which almost kills Ford. |
