When I Google for
    "Upload a GEDCOM" (enquoted)
I get 563,000 hits.

I started looking at this because I would like to upload a GEDCOM, but I absolutely refuse to use a site that forces users to use a template and does not allow free-form editing.  So are there any websites at all, that allow the uploading of a GEDCOM, and also allow free editing of the results (without the forced use of a template)?
