The Delicate Delinquent (1957) buddy-film comedy (playlist - complete), produced by Jerry Lewis

Jerry is mistakenly picked up by the cops as a delinquent, but the kindly-hearted cop Darren McGavin decides that he can "reform" him. Martha Hyer as Darren's love interest, the uptown reformer who doesn't know how to deal with street kids.
From the beginning of Jerry's career, his movies revolved around a two-man relationship with Dean Martin, and could be read with elements of homo-eroticism, with any female romantic interest of Jerry's always played very light and unsubstantial. Dean Martin however was played as such a ladies man that that element was obscured. In The Delicate Delinquent however, the emotional bonding with Darren McGavin seems to me, much more directly encoded attraction. Much of the dialogue can easily be read as flirtation and intimacy. Darren's love interest is downplayed and inconsequential.
starring Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, Eli Wallach
Part 1 is missing but you won't notice it.
Clint Eastwood and his buddy Eli Wallach are scamming Western towns for thousands of dollars a go. He turns in his friend for the reward, but then helps him escape. After a double-cross however, his friend becomes his enemy and hunts him down. Meanwhile Lee Van Cleef is after a stock of hidden gold coins. Clint is supposed to be the "Good" in this film, but the morality of all the characters is "fight, shoot and get the gold" whatever it takes. Director Sergio Leone was trying to show the true morality of the West.
