The scenes and details below are from the edited version of the film available on YouTube. It is not yet clear whether this is identical to the film published in 1963, or has been edited down further. Several scenes which were shot, per the script, are not included in this edition.
Cleopatra Part 1Part 1
Scene 1
Pharsalia. Caesar's (Rex Harrison's) armies have just destroyed Pompey's armies, and now the dead are being cremated. Antony (Richard Burton) and Rufio (Martin Landau) have a few lines here. The mute barber Flavius mimes that Canidius is approaching. Canidius (Andrew Faulds) approaches with news of Pompey's fate. Another officer has a few lines here, but he is not identified.
Scene 2
Alexandria. The announcer tells us that Ptolemy has driven his sister Cleopatra from the throne of Egypt. Caesar has now arrived there in a galley. Agrippa (Andrew Keir) and Rufio each have a line here. Ptolemy (Richard O'Sullivan) approaches. Pothinus (Gregoire Aslan) has a line here. Germanicus (Robert Stephens) has a line here. Achillas (John Doucette) has a line here. Theodotos (Herbert Berghof) has a line here.

Alexandria. The Egyptians show Caesar the severed head of Pompey, but Caeser is not pleased at Pompey being dishonored in this way.
Scene 3
Alexandria. Caeser's room in the palace. Caeser is discussing defensive arrangements with his officers when Apollodorus (Cesare Danova) arrives with a rug as a gift from Cleopatra. However Cleopatra (Elizabeth Taylor) has secreted herself inside the rug.
