He states that he is known by Charles Hodges, clergyman.  This would appear to be the same Charles Hodges who, in OneWorldTree [http://trees.ancestry.com/owt/person.aspx?pid=152069222 here] was married to Mary "Polly" Milhouse and had at least one child in Limestone County, Alabama in 1820.
